Säfvahöjden's August Hamnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Säfvahöjden from getting a goal against them. Michel Brun's late challenge caught a ZigZag Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Brun helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Säfvahöjden got a freekick which was hit by Michel Brun. Säfvahöjden's August Hamnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Säfvahöjden from getting a goal against them. Olov Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Säfvahöjden were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after ZigZag Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michel Brun took the corner. 40 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Matildo Watkins came free, but Frederic Gschwendtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Kosan Bonde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZigZag Athletic and the Säfvahöjden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Kosan Bonde got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute, Lukas Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

ZigZag Athletic's Frederic Gschwendtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Matildo Watkins in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ćiro Immobile in the 60th minute of play forced Säfvahöjden's goalkeeper August Hamnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Säfvahöjden:s August Hamnberg showed great skill when he stopped Lukas Martinsson:s penalty. ZigZag Athletic's Isidro Contera was substituted for Xavi Simons. Lukas Martinsson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Frederic Gschwendtner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ubaldo Matildo Watkins's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Ubaldo Matildo Watkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Säfvahöjden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Oliver Bergfelt took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederic Gschwendtner. Frederic Gschwendtner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Säfvahöjden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
