Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 0) Ovidiu Zorlescu made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the Soca defense, Filip Mavrogheni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Manciulea. The Soca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Manciulea should have stopped the shot. Filip Mavrogheni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remus Manciulea came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Aurel Crainic. But to his dismay, Aurel Crainic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 15th minute, Filip Mavrogheni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Nedelea charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Nedelea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Soca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Nedelea to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Soca booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Humă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soca's Manuel Chițan got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sabin Baicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Soca got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Grămescu. In the 37th minute Aurel Crainic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Manciulea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Manciulea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Crainic, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Filip Mavrogheni scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remus Manciulea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Remus Manciulea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Crainic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes of play, Galati Harbour Cats's Filip Mavrogheni made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remus Manciulea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Galati Harbour Cats's Filip Mavrogheni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remus Manciulea. That made the score 0-5 after 52 minutes of play. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fabian Minculescu hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Manuel Chițan shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea to catch but Manuel Chițan was lucky. It became 1-5 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. A collision led to Soca getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Petrică Udubaşa hit a great ball. Aurel Crainic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Manciulea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Aurel Crainic in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Zorlescu in the 72nd minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Filip Mavrogheni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Manciulea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galati Harbour Cats's Panait Acalinei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Octav Dragalina, made in the 79th minute of the game. Filip Mavrogheni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Ovidiu Zorlescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Soca's Remus Manciulea got control of the ball when Aurel Crainic tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Panait Acalinei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Crainic in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Manciulea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Galati Harbour Cats left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Soca.
