Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Antonescu. 5 minutes into the match, Bogdan Antonescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Bădulescu, 1-0. Iosif Spiru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes in the game Horaţiu Uncheşu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen. Daniel Bădulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. Horaţiu Uncheşu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Cernavoda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ionuț Lunca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Bădulescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu got control of the ball when Ionuț Lunca tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Antonescu came free, but Daniel Bădulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Daniel Bădulescu however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Bădulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iosif Spiru to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Bădulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Aristide Dominte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cernavoda and the Fotbal Club Vaslui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Cernavoda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Dominte to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben came free, but Daniel Bădulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben in the 67th minute of play forced Cernavoda's goalkeeper Daniel Bădulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Bădulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Daniel Bădulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Antonescu in the 77th minute of play. Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Bădulescu. Daniel Bădulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Sever Fetea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Daniel Bădulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Bădulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Daniel Bădulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Antonescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fotbal Club Vaslui had played much better football throughout.
