Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Traian Voina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niculae Arbore got free with Șerban Baicea in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ionică Alb's late challenge caught a Continental Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionică Alb helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Carpathian Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Alb to maneuver through the defense. Continental Buzau's Iustin Belu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carpathian Wolves. 8 minutes into the game, Iustin Belu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Continental Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpathian Wolves the free kick. A collision led to Continental Buzau getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Iustin Belu hit a great ball. If Traian Voina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iurie Bărboianu didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 20th minute. Carpathian Wolves's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Manole Nandriș hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nichifor Mărăscu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Voina in the 28th minute of play. The corner ended in Iustin Belu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carpathian Wolves's Nichifor Mărăscu did a great save. Eliodor Basarab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Bărboianu in the 33rd minute of play forced Continental Buzau's goalkeeper Șerban Baicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Continental Buzau's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Iurie Bărboianu 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Continental Buzau's goalkeeper Șerban Baicea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niculae Arbore. If Eliodor Basarab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Bărboianu to make the kick off. Șerban Baicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Arbore in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Nicu Steriopol notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Continental Buzau's Șerban Baicea. Șerban Baicea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If George Ţăranu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Baicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Arbore, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Bărboianu in the 64th minute of play forced Continental Buzau's goalkeeper Șerban Baicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Continental Buzau's Șerban Baicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Arbore in the 65th minute of play. Șerban Baicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Steriopol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Continental Buzau's Aurelian Pupăzan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aurelian Pupăzan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Continental Buzau protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aurelian Pupăzan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 70th minute, one of Continental Buzau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Continental Buzau. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Traian Voina put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nichifor Mărăscu. After 79 minutes, Iurie Bărboianu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathian Wolves and the Continental Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Carpathian Wolves getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Iurie Bărboianu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Bărboianu in the 81st minute of play forced Continental Buzau's goalkeeper Șerban Baicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Niculae Arbore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpathian Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niculae Arbore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes of play, Carpathian Wolves's Nicu Steriopol made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Baicea was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Nandriș in the 92nd minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Nichifor Mărăscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manole Nandriș fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Continental Buzau's protests and gave Manole Nandriș a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Continental Buzau's Manole Nandriș got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Niculae Arbore came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Carpathian Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Arbore couldn't finish the play. Continental Buzau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
