Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Valentin Ursulescu made the kick off and thus started the match. Sever Zăreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Manuel Pască made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Florin Manu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raureni Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Manu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Firoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisc Firoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Manu in the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Francisc Ţăranu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisc Firoiu was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Manuel Pască took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Ursulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Pască made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Valentin Ursulescu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Manuel Pască got control of the ball when Aurelian Fundătoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Owls's Francisc Firoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Ţăranu in the 33rd minute of play. Aurelian Fundătoreanus short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Manuel Pască to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Sever Zăreanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Pască. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Sever Zăreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Owls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Aanicăi was the one to do the kick off. Rareș Tomulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Pască having to interfere. The Owls's Aurelian Fundătoreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rareș Tomulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Owls's Victor Rizea got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Victor Rizea managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Owls's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Rizea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Pască breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costică Popa's late challenge caught a The Owls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costică Popa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Costică Popa hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Owls! The goalkeeper, Francisc Firoiu, was totally fooled by Raureni Academy's Pompiliu Andrițoiu, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 76 minutes Raureni Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rareș Tomulescu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Valentin Ursulescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Pască quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Francisc Ţăranu took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisc Firoiu. Francisc Firoiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Valentin Ursulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Raureni Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Owls:s goal. When Valentin Ursulescu came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the The Owls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Ursulescu couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Owls fully deserved thier win.
