Mihăiţă Ştefulescu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Balavanis's Mugurel Apostolescu. But to his dismay, Mugurel Apostolescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Lăzărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Lăzărescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Balavanis booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Cluceru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Balavanis's Cristinel Tapalagă. But to his dismay, Cristinel Tapalagă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Apostolescu in the 26th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Ştefulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Balavanis's Mugurel Apostolescu in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GoooooL's goalie prevented a goal. When Balavanis's Horaţiu Vermeşan in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Balavanis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GoooooL the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugurel Apostolescu in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saved GoooooL from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Codrin Lăzărescu made a precise shot to the right of Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. GoooooL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Eliodor Senin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Marin Gavrilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The GoooooL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Balavanis were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octav Galiceanu to make the kick off. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mugurel Apostolescu sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 56 minutes, Marin Gavrilă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balavanis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Gavrilă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Cioculescu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Horaţiu Vermeşan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balavanis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Lăzărescu in the 63rd minute of play. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Gavrilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Doru Băcioiu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calistrat Neaga during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GoooooL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Marin Gavrilă shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codrin Lăzărescu got free with Mihăiţă Ştefulescu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Balavanis booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Foltea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Cluceru hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Gavrilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Mugurel Apostolescu notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute Mugurel Apostolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Gavrilă in the 88th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Ştefulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
