In the 17th minute, Liu Chao Xiao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club 23 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chao Xiao came free, but Codrin Beraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriu Toacsen hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Cristian Urdeş took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remus Vuia. Club 23's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Codrin Beraru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Codrin Beraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 32nd minute of play. Valeriu Toacsen's late challenge caught a Paralia Athens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeriu Toacsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Valeriu Toacsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Toacsen. Liu Chao Xiao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 39th minute, but Remus Vuia got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Club 23 hanging dry this time. Druțu Daniel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Codrin Beraru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club 23. 46 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chao Xiao came free, but Codrin Beraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paralia Athens's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Druțu Daniel was slow to take the kick. During this time Club 23's players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Liu Chao Xiao made the kick off in the second half. Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Paralia Athens from getting a goal against them. In the 54th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Filimon to maneuver through the defense. Liu Chao Xiao might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Codrin Beraru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liu Chao Xiao ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru got control of the ball when Liu Chao Xiao tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Olimpiu Hurmuzache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Liu Chao Xiao recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Codrin Beraru. Liu Chao Xiao showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Paralia Athens's Martin Arseni was substituted for Panait Marghescu. Ragnar Lönn kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Cozmâncă came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Aron Chițes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Codrin Beraru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute of the match, Aron Chițes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codrin Beraru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Codrin Beraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Chițes in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Aron Chițes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Chițes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Codrin Beraru stood somewhat misplaced when Aron Chițes came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 92 minute. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Arseni in the 95th minute of play. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Arseni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club 23's Aron Chițes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club 23 played a much better game than Paralia Athens and deserved their victory. The Paralia Athens players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
