Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teobald Werra started the match with the kick off. When Cezary Fleischer fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's protests and gave Cezary Fleischer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Fleischer to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Juliusz Bubczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Zalipski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Iwo Wawrukiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Konrad Pankowski. The goal made the score 1-0. After 35 minutes, Teobald Werra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Olimpia Warszawa and the WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes KS Olimpia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Werra. After a defensive mix-up in KS Olimpia Warszawa's zone, Roman Zabrzeski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Pankowski came out of the goal and Roman Zabrzeski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to KS Olimpia Warszawa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jan Kawa hit a great ball. Aleksander Majtyka made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eddie Vedder immediately put the ball in play. Konrad Pankowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Wawrukiewicz in the 43rd minute. Konrad Pankowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Niedzwiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcin Kasperowicz to make the kick off. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Konrad Pankowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Zabrzeski in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Marcin Kasperowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konrad Pankowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Olimpia Warszawa the free kick. Iwo Wawrukiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ had played much better football throughout.
