Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Svajūnas Damanskas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palloketut's goalkeeper Jimi Nyrhinen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Marko Mäkitalo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palloketut's protests and gave Marko Mäkitalo a yellow card for diving instead. 6 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Justinas Paliūnas came free, but Jimi Nyrhinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justinas Paliūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimi Nyrhinen having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Svajūnas Damanskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geležinis Vilkas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Urmas Vuorinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Albinas Pauža tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Palloketut's Urmas Vuorinen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albinas Pauža. That made the score 2-1 after 22 minutes of play. 2-2 became the score in the 25th minute when Deimantas Satkus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Albinas Pauža made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Mäkitalo in the 30th minute of play. Rupertas Lazauskas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes of play, Geležinis Vilkas's Svajūnas Damanskas made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimi Nyrhinen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimi Nyrhinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svajūnas Damanskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimi Nyrhinen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svajūnas Damanskas went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Geležinis Vilkas were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urmas Vuorinen was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svajūnas Damanskas in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimi Nyrhinen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teemu Valkealahti hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palloketut's zone, Deimantas Satkus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimi Nyrhinen came out of the goal and Deimantas Satkus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimi Nyrhinen made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Deimantas Satkus sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Geležinis Vilkas's Svajūnas Damanskas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. The Geležinis Vilkas fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Geležinis Vilkas's Svajūnas Damanskas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Roni Kaitainen got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teemu Valkealahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Teemu Valkealahti fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palloketut's protests and gave Teemu Valkealahti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Teemu Valkealahti got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Palloketut defense, Deimantas Satkus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimi Nyrhinen. The Palloketut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimi Nyrhinen should have stopped the shot. Teemu Valkealahti took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albinas Pauža. Albinas Pauža dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-9. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Geležinis Vilkas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
