After 11 played minutes FK Mintis Vilnius got a freekick which was hit by Eugenijus Gureckas. Sigitas Ivoška sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigitas Ivoška in the 17th minute of play forced Capua Whitewolves's goalkeeper Kaspar Vilu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FK Mintis Vilnius's Sigitas Ivoška got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Holger Arman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Arūnas Mažulis made a huge save. After 35 minutes, Tõnn Käbin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capua Whitewolves and the FK Mintis Vilnius players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arūnas Mažulis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaspar Vilu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigitas Ivoška, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Capua Whitewolves's Alari Vaigurand got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes FK Mintis Vilnius got a freekick which was hit by Sigitas Sakalauskas. When Mario Lumi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Capua Whitewolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Lumi couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Aurelijus Balūzis could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Kaspar Vilu however easily saved by the left post. FK Mintis Vilnius's Arūnas Mažulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Voldemar Sõõrumaa in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Sigitas Ivoška left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Mintis Vilnius fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Capua Whitewolves's goalkeeper Kaspar Vilu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Valdemaras Rudys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
