The referee ignored Carloforte f.c.'s protests and gave Camillo Orecchioni a yellow card for diving instead. Alexis Pouliakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Alexis Pouliakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Iacovella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Carloforte f.c. were the better team. Carloforte f.c.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
