When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Daniele Cammarota sped through Villa Gordiani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Cimino. Dino Cimino was a little too slow when Daniele Cammarota got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Del Duca to maneuver through the defense. Villa Gordiani's Dino Cimino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Gordiani from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Colombi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Cimino stood somewhat misplaced when Daniele Cammarota came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Beppe Rosati made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villa Gordiani's Concetto Spinelli. Attilio Iob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Iob didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Daniele Cammarota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montechiarugolo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele Cammarota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Attilio Iob charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Iob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Attilio Iob kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniele Cammarota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Daniele Cammarota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Cimino. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Cimino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Edmondo Palomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniele Cammarota scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Cimino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fred Theissl made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villa Gordiani's Concetto Spinelli. Dino Cimino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Cammarota's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Eraldo Dominici in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villa Gordiani's Concetto Spinelli. 75 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Iob came free, but Fortunato Lepori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniele Cammarota struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dino Cimino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montechiarugolo AFC. The Montechiarugolo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Montechiarugolo AFC's Daniele Cammarota looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmondo Palomba struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Montechiarugolo AFC had played much better football throughout.
