After 6 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Abela. 8 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Abela came free, but Eleftherios Papakostis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Angelo Abela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleftherios Papakostis. ΟΦΗ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Abela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Themis Zografakis got a free kick in the 26th minute. Eleftherios Papakostis came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Swatar United FC's Angelo Abela. But to his dismay, Angelo Abela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Fokas Koumentakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Babbis Prokos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Babbis Prokos got a free kick in the 40th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Soulis Orfanos to strike the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soulis Orfanos in the 51st minute of the match. When Odysseas Portoulidis came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the ΟΦΗ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odysseas Portoulidis couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Abela. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soulis Orfanos in the 58th minute of play forced Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soulis Orfanos in the 61st minute of play. ΟΦΗ's Eleftherios Papakostis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Amato Gauci in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Fokas Koumentakis. Eleftherios Papakostis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Montanaro in the 69th minute. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soulis Orfanos in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Panagiotis Katsapis made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Luiz Alcântara. Swatar United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 83 minutes into the game, Odysseas Portoulidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Portoulidis came free, but Sílvio Luiz Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
