Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anfilogino De Nardis started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitris Koukoulas got free with Ferruccio Sciarra in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferruccio Sciarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitris Koukoulas in the 9th minute. Dimitris Koukoulas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimosthenis Kakarnakis came free, but Ferruccio Sciarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Go Ahead Eagles were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Farafulla FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vaggelis Pagarliotas took the corner. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Marinos Agtzidis put in a rough tackle. After 22 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Marinos Agtzidis. Ferruccio Sciarra made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dimitris Koukoulas sent off a good shot on target. Farafulla FC's Ferruccio Sciarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacharias Panagoulias in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Anfilogino De Nardis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Themistoklis Charalambakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimitris Koukoulas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitris Koukoulas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Dimitris Koukoulas got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Miltiadis Egomitis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 38 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miltos Theriaklis came free, but Ferruccio Sciarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Berardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Themistoklis Charalambakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Berardi ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Berardi came free, but Themistoklis Charalambakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferruccio Sciarra was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Dimitris Koukoulas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The Go Ahead Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Ferruccio Sciarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Koukoulas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute Dimitris Koukoulas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Sciarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Miltiadis Egomitis. In the 63rd minute, Donato Berardi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Giorgos Tsartas got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ferruccio Sciarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Koukoulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
