Gilles Patron received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stathis Ipsilantis came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilles Patron slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Gilles Patron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SILMONT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis got control of the ball when Omer Demeyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Paraskevas Rovolis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stathis Ipsilantis was a little too slow when Gilles Patron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 4-0. After 25 played minutes Lapokhσri got a freekick which was hit by Eleftherios Prittas. Dan Descombes scored 5-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, SILMONT's Stathis Ipsilantis threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilles Patron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Themis Koulakidis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gilles Patron was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. SILMONT's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 35 minutes into the match, Lapokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Patron came free, but Stathis Ipsilantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omer Demeyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Stathis Ipsilantis made a huge save. When Iosif Ntounias fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lapokhσri's protests and gave Iosif Ntounias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Lapokhσri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Ntounias to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, SILMONT's Gilles Patron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stathis Ipsilantis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Dan Descombes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stathis Ipsilantis was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 44th minute, Hervé Sandoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Themis Koulakidis made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Youri Flamant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Lapokhσri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youri Flamant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 61st minute, Gilles Patron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stathis Ipsilantis was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After some careless play in the Lapokhσri defense, Gilles Patron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. The Lapokhσri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stathis Ipsilantis should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gilles Patron managed to get in a good position for a shot. SILMONT's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilles Patron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stathis Ipsilantis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Hervé Sandoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Gilles Patron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Ipsilantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Patron in the 85th minute of play forced Lapokhσri's goalkeeper Stathis Ipsilantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stathis Ipsilantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilles Patron, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Gilles Patron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SILMONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Patron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charlie Baque during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Charlie Baque hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Patron in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goalkeeper Yves Michalon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iosif Ntounias. There was no doubt that SILMONT were the better team. SILMONT's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
