Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Renzi started the match with the kick off. When Ernesto Renzi came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Calenzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Renzi couldn't finish the play. In the 3rd minute Ernesto Renzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Burelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Alex Astolfi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgo Doria F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calenzano the free kick. Alex Astolfi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Borgo Doria F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Augusto Fasciani hit a great ball. Daniele Di Gregorio charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Di Gregorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Borgo Doria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Di Gregorio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Renzi in the 27th minute of play forced Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper Antonio Burelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Burelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Renzi in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Borgo Doria F.C. defense, Ernesto Renzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Burelli. The Borgo Doria F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Burelli should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Augusto Fasciani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Doris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Renzi came free, but Antonio Burelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Camillo Paolini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calenzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo Paolini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthony Doris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniele Di Gregorio in the 44th minute. The supporters of Borgo Doria F.C. booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Bencivenni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Daniele Di Gregorio made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Arrigo Sciarretta sped through Calenzano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anthony Doris. 54 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Rea came free, but Anthony Doris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Attilio Sacchi got a free kick in the 57th minute. Anthony Doris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arrigo Sciarretta in the 59th minute of the match. Antonello Bencivenni struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Antonio Burelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calenzano. In the 64thth minute of the game Ernesto Renzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgo Doria F.C.'s Antonio Burelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Burelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Renzi in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Rea in the 76th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Anthony Doris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Enrico Molinaro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Ernesto Renzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Burelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, Arrigo Sciarretta notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Calenzano's Anthony Doris. Anthony Doris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 91 played minutes Borgo Doria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Rea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Sciarretta in the 95th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Anthony Doris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Borgo Doria F.C. had played much better football throughout.
