Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 0) Jeremy Bonello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jeremy Bonello sped through Lapokhσri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Stathis Ipsilantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Xuereb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attard Gunners were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Lapokhσri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Neil Axisa took the corner. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Axisa in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Thomas Zrinzo made a precise shot to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Lapokhσri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 13 minutes of play, Attard Gunners's Jeremy Bonello made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stathis Ipsilantis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrea Xuereb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stathis Ipsilantis having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Thomas Zrinzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Stathis Ipsilantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Bonello in the 23rd minute of play. Andrea Xuereb took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stathis Ipsilantis. Stathis Ipsilantis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Andrea Xuereb scored 0-6 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Lapokhσri got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Ntounias. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Xuereb in the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Jeremy Bonello notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis. Stathis Ipsilantis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Lapokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Xuereb came free, but Stathis Ipsilantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Pullicino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stathis Ipsilantis having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

In the 55th minute, Thomas Zrinzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stathis Ipsilantis. The goal made the score 0-10. In the 59th minute, Jeremy Bonello made a precise shot to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Lapokhσri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Andrea Xuereb put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Neil Axisa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Stathis Ipsilantis made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Zrinzo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stathis Ipsilantis. That made the score 0-13 in the 69 minute of play. Stathis Ipsilantis made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Neil Axisa sent off a good shot on target. Jeremy Bonello took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stathis Ipsilantis. Stathis Ipsilantis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. After 79 minutes, Nikos Alexiou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapokhσri and the Attard Gunners players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Andrea Xuereb made a precise shot to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Lapokhσri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Pullicino in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Lapokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Bonello came free, but Stathis Ipsilantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lapokhσri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Attard Gunners were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
