Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) O.T.E's Alekos Roubakis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Templars FC's Kurt Abdilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vrasidas Pelidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Murphy came free, but Vrasidas Pelidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes, O.T.E's Ermis Panakakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Demicoli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in O.T.E reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tim Hyzler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Hyzler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vrasidas Pelidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Demicoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Roubakis in the 17th minute of play. Kurt Abdilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vrasidas Pelidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Markos Theodoropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vrasidas Pelidis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kurt Abdilla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Vrasidas Pelidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Abdilla's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Takis Tavlaridis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ermis Panakakis hit a great ball. Vrasidas Pelidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Abdilla went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Abdilla was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Eddie Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vrasidas Pelidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Abdilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vrasidas Pelidis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Eddie Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Murphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vrasidas Pelidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Angelo Trigona came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Trigona couldn't finish the play. Kurt Abdilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Angelo Trigona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tim Hyzler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Eddie Murphy made a precise shot to the right of Vrasidas Pelidis. O.T.E's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Takis Tavlaridis's late challenge caught a Templars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takis Tavlaridis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Templars FC booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Tavlaridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vrasidas Pelidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Abdilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vrasidas Pelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Hyzler in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Templars FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
