Patrik Beaton took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Rico. Prospero Rico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Patrik Beaton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Rico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Prospero Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Neiva in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Gonçalo Neiva made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Vilapriu's Prospero Rico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Vilapriu defense, Patrik Beaton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Rico. The Vilapriu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Rico should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Neiva notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Vilapriu's Prospero Rico. Prospero Rico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonçalo Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Patrik Beaton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Prospero Rico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Manolo Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Vilapriu's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Beaton came free, but Prospero Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vilapriu defense, Almiro Assis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Rico. Prospero Rico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Neiva was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Patrik Beaton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Prospero Rico, 0-10. Prospero Rico was a little too slow when Patrik Beaton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-11. 65 minutes into the game, Patrik Beaton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Prospero Rico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the match, Almiro Assis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Rico. Vilapriu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almiro Assis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. Gonçalo Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Prospero Rico made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Gonçalo Neiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SLB TELHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15. Gonçalo Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Prospero Rico made a huge save. Prospero Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vilapriu's Prospero Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almiro Assis in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Almiro Assis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Prospero Rico, 0-16. Prospero Rico came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SLB TELHA's Patrik Beaton. But to his dismay, Patrik Beaton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-17. In the 89th minute Gonçalo Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Rico was a little too slow when Patrik Beaton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-18. 94 minutes into the game, SLB TELHA's Patrik Beaton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Rico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-19. 98 minutes into the match, Patrik Beaton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Rico. Vilapriu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Beaton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-20. The Vilapriu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SLB TELHA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
