The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gerwin Dongen hit a great ball. FC Beatriz 08's António Lessa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adrian Txindoki but with some difficulty. Viseu United's Amado Salazar got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Viseu United's Amado Salazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Meira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Viseu United's Gaspar Moita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Meira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Amado Salazar made a precise shot to the right of Abel Meira. FC Beatriz 08's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Moita in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Viseu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Moita to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Salazar in the 25th minute of play forced FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Abel Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Viseu United from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Gaspar Moita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Viseu United fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Viseu United's Amado Salazar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Márcio Cordeiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 33rd playminute. Abel Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Salazar in the 36th minute of the match. Amado Salazar took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Meira. Abel Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Graziani to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Oso Cienfuegos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Beatriz 08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viseu United the free kick. The supporters of Viseu United booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oso Cienfuegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Valter Bentes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Amado Salazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Abel Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski was substituted for Amado Salazar. If Ziemowit Gdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Gdowski got free with Abel Meira in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viseu United made a substitution. Teobald Jekot replaced Adalberto Marquez. Ziemowit Gdowski's late challenge caught a FC Beatriz 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ziemowit Gdowski helped the player get up and apologised. Ziemowit Gdowski kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Abel Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ziemowit Gdowski's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Ziemowit Gdowski sped through FC Beatriz 08's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abel Meira. FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC Beatriz 08 from getting a goal against them. Abel Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Gdowski in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Viseu United defense, Márcio Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Txindoki. The Viseu United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Txindoki should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd match minute, FC Beatriz 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Meira. That made the score 2-8 after 85 minutes of play. 89 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Gdowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Meira. FC Beatriz 08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ziemowit Gdowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-9.
