Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcio Carreira started the match with the kick off. When Marcio Carreira fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCSB CUENCA's protests and gave Marcio Carreira a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Marcio Carreira. In the 8th minute, Alfons Japón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Marcio Carreira put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Baudilio Llinares. Atlético de Sagunto's Baudilio Llinares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Japón in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Marcio Carreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudilio Llinares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Marcio Carreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCSB CUENCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Baudilio Llinares came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB CUENCA's Desiderio Martinez. But to his dismay, Desiderio Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Thanks to some nice moves Sagrario Valcarcel could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Frances Jaraba however easily saved by the left post. Marcio Carreira was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcio Carreira hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Desiderio Martinez made a precise shot to the right of Baudilio Llinares. Atlético de Sagunto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 41st minute, Desiderio Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Atlético de Sagunto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FCSB CUENCA were winning 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gorka Campoamor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atlético de Sagunto's Anxel Losada got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlético de Sagunto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Sebastian Zărnescu scored to the left of an out of position Baudilio Llinares, making the score, 0-8. Desiderio Martinez struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Baudilio Llinares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCSB CUENCA. In the 61st minute, Desiderio Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baudilio Llinares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Zărnescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 65 minute of play. In the 68th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Japón to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Lillo lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Jacobo Lillo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Sebastian Zărnescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baudilio Llinares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Zărnescu in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match, Desiderio Martinez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baudilio Llinares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Sebastian Zărnescu notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Atlético de Sagunto's Baudilio Llinares. Baudilio Llinares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FCSB CUENCA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
