With a little luck, FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič got control of the ball when Mihail Cepoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Daniel Stângã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juraj Kobelník in the 11th minute of play. Matúš Medveď hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Mihail Cepoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Iosif Creangã managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Truseni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iosif Creangã was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlastimil Haško during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's George Pricop got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 36 minutes, Adam Husák mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DNV Bratiskava and the FC Truseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, FC DNV Bratiskava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Husák to maneuver through the defense. Tomáš Zednikovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Cepoi in the 41st minute of the match. If Mihail Cepoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juraj Kobelník was the one to do the kick off. When Mihail Cepoi came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Truseni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihail Cepoi couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Daniel Stângã successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihail Cepoi in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Zednikovič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mihail Cepoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Cepoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tomáš Zednikovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Cepoi in the 98th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Tomáš Zednikovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Truseni had played much better football throughout.
