After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Géza Bozsik got a free kick in the 4th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Gábor Szaniszló put in a rough tackle. In the 10th minute, one of Gyál United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gyál United. Gyál United:s Mihály Földesi showed great skill when he stopped Nikolay Alimov:s penalty. Mihály Földesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikita Bessonov in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Dmitriy Donaurov made a precise shot to the right of Mihály Földesi. Gyál United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Géza Bozsik charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Géza Bozsik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Géza Bozsik hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Csaba Kossuth in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksey Silkin saved Курск ФК from getting behind. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Курск ФК's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Csaba Kossuth was slow to take the kick. During this time Gyál United's players had a chance to rest. 35 minutes into the match, Nikita Bessonov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gyál United's Mihály Földesi. Mihály Földesi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihály Földesi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Dmitriy Donaurov sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Nikita Bessonov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mihály Földesi, 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Csaba Kossuth during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Csaba Kossuth got a free kick in the 66th minute. Mihály Földesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikita Bessonov, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Miklós Bodnár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Silkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gyál United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Курск ФК were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
