Francois Vanden Bossche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri Faber, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. FC Dharma Initiative's Francois Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Faber in the 9th minute of play. When Benjamin Šeško fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored B68 Toftir's protests and gave Benjamin Šeško a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to B68 Toftir getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Benjamin Šeško hit a great ball. Francois Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Čvančara in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Tomáš Čvančara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francois Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Šeško in the 26th minute of play forced FC Dharma Initiative's goalkeeper Francois Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, FC Dharma Initiative's Jorden Tubbackx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgi Mamardashvili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorden Tubbackx was the one to do the kick off. Salih Özcan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Dharma Initiative's Koen Steckens tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. B68 Toftir's Giorgi Mamardashvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Blommaert in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FC Dharma Initiative's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Šeško came free, but Francois Vanden Bossche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francois Vanden Bossche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Šeško's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Benjamin Šeško struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Francois Vanden Bossche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for B68 Toftir. In the 74th minute, Godfried Taverniers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giorgi Mamardashvili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Blommaert in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Dharma Initiative's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Eichenberger was slow to take the kick. During this time B68 Toftir's players had a chance to rest. When Benjamin Šeško came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the B68 Toftir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Šeško couldn't finish the play. Giorgi Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibau De Jaeger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Tomáš Čvančara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B68 Toftir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomáš Čvančara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Eichenberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
