Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Valencia CF Mindszent's Zsolt Mēness started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Istok Šabotić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Viktor Tolnai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lan Šorli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfréd Marton in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Jernej Petrovič. Lan Šorli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfréd Marton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21st play minutes Duško Turnšek shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Viktor Tolnai and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia CF Mindszent's zone, Goražd Djordjević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Tolnai came out of the goal and Goražd Djordjević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lan Šorli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfréd Marton went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Alfréd Marton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia CF Mindszent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Zoltán Vadász had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Zoltán Vadász shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lan Šorli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duško Turnšek was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd match minute, Valencia CF Mindszent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Vadász to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Valencia CF Mindszent's Lan Šorli threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ákos Bökönyi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Valencia CF Mindszent getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Szabolcs Sinka hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Istok Šabotić in the 74th minute of play forced Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Viktor Tolnai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Istok Šabotić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valencia CF Mindszent's Viktor Tolnai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Zsolt Mēness reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lan Šorli. The goal made the score 1-3. The supporters of Valencia CF Mindszent booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jernej Petrovič didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Zsolt Mēness tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lan Šorli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Valencia CF Mindszent getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zoltán Vadász hit a great ball. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli got control of the ball when Szabolcs Sinka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valencia CF Mindszent played a much better game than HIT Gorica and deserved their victory. The HIT Gorica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
