Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeroen Loos kicked off to start the match. Herald Humbelets's late challenge caught a De Pelgrims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herald Humbelets helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Dirk Talsma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederik Van Geel was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Frederik Van Geel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elbert Spanjer in the 16th minute. Miguel Van Havent took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurens Oosterman. Laurens Oosterman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New York Giants! When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, De Pelgrims's Elbert Spanjer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Frederik Van Geel. Frederik Van Geel stood somewhat misplaced when Elbert Spanjer came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. Dirk Talsma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frederik Van Geel came out and tried to block the shot, but Dirk Talsma slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 34th minute. Elbert Spanjer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Frederik Van Geel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Dirk Talsma reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frederik Van Geel. The goal made the score 6-1. In the 45th minute, Arnout Henderickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dirk Talsma made a kick off. Elbert Spanjer took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederik Van Geel. Frederik Van Geel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Dirk Talsma got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to New York Giants getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Louis Emeleers hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, New York Giants's goal looked a bit too open when Elbert Spanjer came free, but Frederik Van Geel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Tonnie Ter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Van Geel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, New York Giants's goal looked a bit too open when Emiel Dilling came free, but Frederik Van Geel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Elbert Spanjer notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of New York Giants's Frederik Van Geel. Frederik Van Geel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Elbert Spanjer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederik Van Geel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elbert Spanjer went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Tonnie Ter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederik Van Geel. New York Giants's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tonnie Ter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. 93 minutes into the game, De Pelgrims's Dirk Talsma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederik Van Geel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-1. De Pelgrims walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
