Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Naldo Cabral started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Passa o Tanque MZ's André Luís Leite got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Christian Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Genílson Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Naldo Cabral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavinho Alvarenga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BOA VISTA E.C. reached it. Túlio Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Túlio Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by BOA VISTA E.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlinhos Carvalho was slow to take the kick. During this time Passa o Tanque MZ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Carlinhos Carvalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Faria quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Bertassi during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Júnior Bertassi got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes, Passa o Tanque MZ's Carlinhos Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Faria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Passa o Tanque MZ reached it. Dedê Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zé Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavinho Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafim Sanches went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Genílson França scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson França in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Dedê Koehler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Passa o Tanque MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When José Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOA VISTA E.C.'s protests and gave José Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BOA VISTA E.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. José Nunes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Júnior Bertassi got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Túlio Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Zé Faria made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Genílson França sent off a good shot on target. Genílson França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zé Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Genílson França came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Passa o Tanque MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genílson França couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes BOA VISTA E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Gerber. With an all-out effort, Passa o Tanque MZ's Zé Faria threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Túlio Godoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flavinho Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Neto came free, but Flavinho Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genílson França struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Zé Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passa o Tanque MZ. Genílson França received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé Faria came out and tried to block the shot, but Genílson França slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Marcelinho Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Zé Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Leite in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Passa o Tanque MZ's Dedê Koehler made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! The BOA VISTA E.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Passa o Tanque MZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
