In the 4th minute, Dalmo Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enéas Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rogério Neves struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gustavo Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resplendor. Valdemar de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gustavo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Resplendor's Enéas Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Hermes in the 18th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Lindner F.C's Alfredo Veloso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Dalmo Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Resplendor's Enéas Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Veloso in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Resplendor defense, Dalmo Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Arantes. The Resplendor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Arantes should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Dedê Meireles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lindner F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 46 minutes into the game, Luka Dončić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Enéas Arantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmo Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luka Dončić hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gilson de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Enéas Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Veloso in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lindner F.C's Dalmo Hermes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enéas Arantes. That made the score 0-6 after 57 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute, Resplendor's Gilson de Godoy seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilson de Godoy the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Resplendor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilson de Godoy had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Resplendor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lindner F.C:s goal. Enéas Arantes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dedê Meireles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 66 minute of play. Dalmo Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, a hard, long distance shot from Dedê Meireles hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. A collision led to Resplendor getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Benjamin Correia hit a great ball. In the 73rd play minute Alfredo Veloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enéas Arantes. 0-9. In the 78th minute, Dinei de Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Enéas Arantes. Resplendor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Alfredo Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Arantes was a little too slow when Dalmo Hermes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-11. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rogério Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resplendor's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enéas Arantes was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Dalmo Hermes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalmo Hermes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. 98 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Meireles came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Resplendor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lindner F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
