Sílvio Luiz de Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Hermes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Lendaa got free with Chicão Sanches in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th match minute, Tigre das Américas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Tigre das Américas were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
