The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wesley Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Eliseu Cordeiro made a huge save. Luiz Guilherme Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Damião having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ViraLataCaramelo U18 and the S.C Jardim Brasil players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.C Jardim Brasil booed when ViraLataCaramelo U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Guilherme Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Damião having to interfere. Túlio Tavares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eliseu Cordeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Wesley Silveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Eliseu Cordeiro however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of ViraLataCaramelo U18 booed when S.C Jardim Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luiz Guilherme Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the ViraLataCaramelo U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Duarte couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Luiz Guilherme Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. ViraLataCaramelo U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matías Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes S.C Jardim Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Simões. Eliseu Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Wesley Silveira sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Wesley Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eliseu Cordeiro to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, ViraLataCaramelo U18's Eliseu Cordeiro got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Trevisan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Josué Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C Jardim Brasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ViraLataCaramelo U18 the free kick. After a rather tough play, S.C Jardim Brasil's Josué Novaes got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th match minute, S.C Jardim Brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Natanael Moreno, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 43rd minute Diguinho Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to S.C Jardim Brasil getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Josué Novaes hit a great ball. Matías Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diguinho Leal was the one to do the kick off. Ronaldinho Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ViraLataCaramelo U18 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Duarte hit a great ball. The supporters of S.C Jardim Brasil booed when ViraLataCaramelo U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Wesley Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseu Cordeiro. ViraLataCaramelo U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Diguinho Leal's late challenge caught a ViraLataCaramelo U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Leal helped the player get up and apologised. Diguinho Leal hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to ViraLataCaramelo U18 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rafinha Amaral hit a great ball. Diguinho Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ViraLataCaramelo U18's Eliseu Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Leal in the 76th minute of play. Eliseu Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Vergílio in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Josué Novaes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Natanael Moreno charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natanael Moreno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes ViraLataCaramelo U18 got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Moreno. After 96 minutes of play, S.C Jardim Brasil's Dênis Custódio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! S.C Jardim Brasil walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
