In the 8th minute, Lu Yuan Yin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnaldo Toledo. The goal made the score 1-0. After 11 played minutes Talento Futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Mito Mesías. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Yuan Yin in the 17th minute of play forced Fluminense Football Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Talento Futebol clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gualter Proença in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Fluminense Football Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júnior Zago. Lu Yuan Yin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Toledo having to make a save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fluminense Football Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 2-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Lu Yuan Yin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Lu Yuan Yin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Toledo. That made the score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Luisinho Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talento Futebol clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fluminense Football Club the free kick. Luisinho Ferraz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Talento Futebol clube's Michel van der Bij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel de Lara in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Maciel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Lu Yuan Yin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Toledo. Fluminense Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lu Yuan Yin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Arnaldo Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Najman in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Talento Futebol clube got a corner. Fluminense Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gualter Proença ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnaldo Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Najman in the 64th minute of the match. Lu Yuan Yin scored 5-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Yuan Yin in the 73rd minute of play forced Fluminense Football Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcin Najman's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Lu Yuan Yin scored 6-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Najman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Talento Futebol clube's Gualter Proença got a free kick in the 84th minute. The long shot by Arlindo Andrade in the 85th minute really tested Michel van der Bij's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Tarcisio Bittencourt in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Talento Futebol clube's Bernardo Pernambucano. Arnaldo Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Yuan Yin in the 90th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Talento Futebol clube fully deserved thier win.
