Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliseu Alagoano started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Naldo Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes, Al-Fajuth's Fabrício Brunovskis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orlando Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Al-Fajuth reached it. Orlando Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Soares in the 15th minute of play. Rômulo Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy got control of the ball when Naldo Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Naldo Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Édouard Mendy came out and tried to block the shot, but Naldo Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Horácio Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al-Fajuth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Joga Redondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Édouard Mendy. Al-Fajuth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joga Redondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Joga Redondo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Édouard Mendy. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Edson Futebol Clube's zone, Rômulo Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Almeida came out of the goal and Rômulo Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Joga Redondo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Edson Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joga Redondo couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naldo Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Wiliam Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Almeida. Edson Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. If Wiliam Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Orlando Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Gonçalves. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edson Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Orlando Almeida went to the wrong direction when Léo Ortiz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Orlando Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rômulo Soares made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Horácio Gonçalves immediately put the ball in play. In the 87th minute of the match Léo Ortiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Almeida skillfully saved the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orlando Almeida, 3-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orlando Almeida. That made the score 3-6 after 95 minutes of play. The Edson Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Al-Fajuth's performance. The match ended with a win for Al-Fajuth.
