Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Fernando Furlan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eugênio Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when Crisólia FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldinho Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson de Souza in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Eugênio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Perez came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Furlan in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes Alfa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Fernando Furlan who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Ramiro Meireles got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Eugênio Perez came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Crisólia FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugênio Perez couldn't finish the play. Crisólia FBPA's Ronaldinho Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Crisólia FBPA from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferreirinha Vinhas got free with Ronaldinho Vasconcelos in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luís Eduardo Sabóia fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crisólia FBPA's protests and gave Luís Eduardo Sabóia a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Sabóia. If Luiz Fernando Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denílson de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Crisólia FBPA defense, Ferreirinha Vinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho Vasconcelos. The Crisólia FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. Ronaldinho Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Meireles in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Luiz Fernando Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crisólia FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fernando Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Gogo Lesardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alfa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Luiz Fernando Furlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugênio Perez took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho de Queirós. Pedrinho de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Denílson de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Crisólia FBPA getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jano da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Gogo Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Varela. Pedrinho de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luiz Fernando Furlan sent off a good shot on target. Ramiro Meireles's late challenge caught a Alfa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. Crisólia FBPA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
