In the 9th match minute, Real Soccer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Nunes came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Curucamba's Décio do Vale. But to his dismay, Décio do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lino Toledo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Real Soccer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gamarra to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Juarês Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curucamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulisses Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Ezequiel Travassos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Carlos Soeiro. The goal made the score 1-1. Ulisses Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Vargas in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Décio do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulisses Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis do Valle's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Décio do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curucamba and the Real Soccer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Décio do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Real Soccer FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curucamba were winning 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Décio do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Hélder Vargas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ulisses Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curucamba. Ulisses Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Curucamba's Hélder Vargas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulisses Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clóvis do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ulisses Nunes made a huge save. The Curucamba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
