An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Campidelis in the 3rd minute of play forced Lencois's goalkeeper Sidnei Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Montesclarense E.C.'s Baltazar Dantas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sidnei Mendonça was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Baltazar Dantas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baltazar Dantas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 12th minute João Paulo Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Davi Campidelis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sidnei Mendonça. Davi Campidelis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Dantas got free with Sidnei Mendonça in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Montesclarense E.C.'s Davi Campidelis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sidnei Mendonça. That made the score 4-0 after 18 minutes of play. After 24 played minutes Davi Campidelis rounded Lencois's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. Sidnei Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baltazar Dantas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th minute Davi Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Lencois's goalkeeper Sidnei Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltazar Dantas. Sidnei Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei Mendonça was a little too slow when Baltazar Dantas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 7-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Salgado to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Lencois got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Salgado. Sidnei Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Schmidt in the 66th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Baltazar Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidnei Mendonça. Lencois's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltazar Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. 78 minutes into the match, Durval Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidnei Mendonça. Baltazar Dantas scored 12-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidnei Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Montesclarense E.C.'s Sidney Schmidt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Glauco Coutinho, made in the 95th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Baltazar Dantas notched a goal, 13-1, to the right of Lencois's Sidnei Mendonça. Sidnei Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montesclarense E.C. fully deserved thier win.
