Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marquinhos Lopes took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA booed when E.C. Galera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bruninho Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. Renan Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Tales Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Roberto Vidal in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldão Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Pedro Luiz Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C. Galera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Falcão de Moraes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. E.C. Galera's André Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Abraão in the 21st minute of play. Silvério Munhoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldão Souza having to make a save. The supporters of FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA booed when E.C. Galera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Ronaldão Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Vidal in the 37th minute of play. When E.C. Galera's Silvério Munhoz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Vidal came free, but Ronaldão Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ronaldão Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C. Galera. The FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. E.C. Galera were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Roberto Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adhemar da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Bruninho Breckenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Breckenfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Bruninho Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 51st minute. E.C. Galera's Tales Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Zé Roberto Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquinhos Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Maranhense having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Roberto Vidal in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldão Souza saved FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA from getting behind. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Renan Trancoso got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Renan Trancoso off the ground. After 62 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by Renan Trancoso. The long shot by Tales Netto in the 63rd minute really tested Ronaldão Souza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Zé Roberto Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes, Pedro Luiz Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. Galera and the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Pedro Luiz Ortiz got a free kick in the 70th minute. During the 75th minute of the match Bruninho Breckenfeld completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bruninho Breckenfeld a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Roberto Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Meireles. Ronaldão Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Munhoz in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's zone, Zé Roberto Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão Souza came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cacá Meireles hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvério Munhoz got free with Ronaldão Souza in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cacá Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Marquinhos Lopes's late challenge caught a E.C. Galera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Tales Netto in the 88th minute really tested Ronaldão Souza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the final whistle sounded E.C. Galera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA.
