André Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tales Netto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Douglas Pena firmly grabbed it by the left post. André Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Mangueira in the 17th minute of the match. Galera's André Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Borges in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Agostinho Reis hit a great ball. Douglas Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Munhoz in the 44th minute of the match. André Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Duarte in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Falcão Mangueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. André Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André Maranhense. That made the score 0-7 in the 57 minute of play. André Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Duarte went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. André Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Diego Duarte sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Mangueira got free with André Maranhense in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Zé Roberto Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Maranhense came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Bastioes EC's Diego Duarte. But to his dismay, Diego Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. The supporters of Bastioes EC booed when E.C. Galera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Maranhense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Duarte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 95 minute of play.
