Miguel Baptista was a little too slow when Kaká Arruda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Miguel Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Arruda in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Alves in the 10th minute of play forced Squadra Sulista's goalkeeper Miguel Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Squadra Sulista defense, Kaká Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Baptista. The Squadra Sulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Baptista should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rafa Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. MUSHIBA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafa Alves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Baptista. That made the score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Claudinho Tande took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Miguel Baptista to make any attempt to save it. After 25 played minutes Squadra Sulista got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Velloso. A hard shot by Albertinho Guimarães from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Miguel Baptista's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rafa Alvess short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Miguel Baptista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chico Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's Rafa Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafa Alves didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-0 via right post in the game's 35th minute. MUSHIBA FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 40th play minutes Rafa Alves shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Miguel Baptista and just under the crossbar into goal. 43 minutes into the game, Claudinho Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MUSHIBA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Squadra Sulista the free kick. Rafa Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Baptista came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafa Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Augusto Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delfim Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Squadra Sulista defense, Rafa Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Baptista. The Squadra Sulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Baptista should have stopped the shot. Squadra Sulista's Miguel Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Alves in the 60th minute of play. MUSHIBA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albertinho Guimarães in the 61st minute. The corner led MUSHIBA FC's Deivid Capixaba to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Baptista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chico Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rafa Alves struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Miguel Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa Alves in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elano Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Squadra Sulista getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Chico Ramos hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Tande. In the 84th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Tande to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Squadra Sulista's goalkeeper Miguel Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When MUSHIBA FC's Claudinho Tande in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Squadra Sulista's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the MUSHIBA FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
