Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Maria Teixeira started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Sena. Chiquinho Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Gualter Tepedino might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmyr Cavalcante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualter Tepedino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Wilian Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 32 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Marinho. Joel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Emílio Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Ademar Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SRP-Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho de Queiroz in the 42nd minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Walmyr Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmyr Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Ceresso in the 43rd minute of the match. José Maria Teixeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walmyr Cavalcante came out and tried to block the shot, but José Maria Teixeira slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute.
52 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Simão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Bueno. Carlos Alberto Simão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. When Nilson Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SRP-Laguna's protests and gave Nilson Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. Walmyr Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Maria Teixeira went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Walmyr Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Emílio Ceresso. But to his dismay, Emílio Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 68 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Cavalcante. In the 72nd minute, Emílio Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Walmyr Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Teixeira in the 76th minute of the match. Gino do Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gino do Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Gino do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, José Maria Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. When Carlos Alberto Simão came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SRP-Laguna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alberto Simão couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Emílio Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Walmyr Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 93rd minute, SRP-Laguna's Danilo Laguna seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Danilo Laguna the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SRP-Laguna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Danilo Laguna had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 94th minute, Danilo Laguna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
