With a little luck, Minotauro's Aloísio Mesquita got control of the ball when Roger Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tales Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Wiliam Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aloísio Mesquita. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aloísio Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Aloísio Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Lucas in the 57th minute of play. Minotauro's Aloísio Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marconi Saabøll in the 58th minute of play. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. Dieguinho Leal replaced Wiliam Lucas. In the 62nd match minute, Minotauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Quintal to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Minotauro's goalkeeper Aloísio Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Dieguinho Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aloísio Mesquita. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aloísio Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Aloísio Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Minotauro booed when SE Tijolo 6 Furos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Carlinhos Bertassi was substituted for Marconi Saabøll. In the 73rd minute of the match Minotauro got a corner. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudinei Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Minotauro's Claudinei Brito to fire away a dangerous shot which Nilmar Brasil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85th minute, Luizão da Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aloísio Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Aloísio Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Dieguinho Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SE Tijolo 6 Furos had played much better football throughout.
