After a rather tough play, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Adilson Brasil got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Águia de Marabá STAND BY's zone, Renan Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Furtado came out of the goal and Renan Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Renan Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Betinho Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Furtado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Giovani Simões got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes, Ediberto Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TRAKINAS FC and the Águia de Marabá STAND BY players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Dalmo de Queirós from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Diogo Fernandez's attention. Betinho Tepedino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adalberto Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Águia de Marabá STAND BY's goalkeeper Adalberto Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diogo Fernandez was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Luís Gustavo Furlan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adilson Brasil hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match.
