Pedro Passos started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Donato Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Passos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Válter Vaz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nildo Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Válter Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazinho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yetkin Hekim in the 8th minute of play. Durval Carioca charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval Carioca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Durval Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Mazinho Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Válter Vaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mazinho Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Tinoco in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Donato Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Válter Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's Gugu Alves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 35 played minutes ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Abreu. In the 35th minute, Donato Tinoco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mazinho Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mazinho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Tinoco in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Freitas. Maicon Abreu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Pedro Passos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Válter Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Tinoco to make the kick off. Pedro Passos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Tinoco in the 52nd minute of play forced ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Mazinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Yetkin Hekim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mazinho Lira threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donato Tinoco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Passos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válter Vaz saved Jacuitiba - FSCMZ from getting behind. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
