Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Misericordia EC's Zé Augusto Sá started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Virgílio Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ from getting a goal against them. Misericordia EC's Bob Dinamite got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Anderson Valladares got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute, Misericordia EC's Eriberto de Alcântara seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eriberto de Alcântara the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Misericordia EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eriberto de Alcântara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 20th minute, one of Misericordia EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Misericordia EC. Misericordia EC:s Wágner Ribeiro showed great skill when he stopped Marcus Cardoso:s penalty. 22 minutes into the match, Marcus Cardoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wágner Ribeiro. Misericordia EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zé Augusto Sá who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Virgílio Freitas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Marquinhos de Barros got a free kick in the 26th minute. Virgílio Freitas was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Bob Dinamite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bob Dinamite really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Virgílio Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Dinamite, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Matamoros in the 33rd minute of play forced ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Virgílio Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Anderson Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ and the Misericordia EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Augusto Sá did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Virgílio Freitas 37 minutes into the match. Zico Matamoros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Augusto Sá in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgílio Freitas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. José Paulo Saraiva's late challenge caught a Misericordia EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. Misericordia EC made a substitution. Jón Dinamite replaced Valério Peres.

53 minutes into the game, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Wanderson Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wágner Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After a rather tough play, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Anderson Valladares got a free kick in the 57th minute. Virgílio Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s zone, Bob Dinamite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgílio Freitas came out of the goal and Bob Dinamite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Augusto Sá took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Freitas. Virgílio Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 67th minute, Bob Dinamite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgílio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Sá in the 70th minute of the match. Bob Gøl hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Luiz Gustavo Koehler in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wágner Ribeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Virgílio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Sá in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Augusto Sá in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Freitas saved ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ from getting behind. Virgílio Freitas came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Misericordia EC's Zé Augusto Sá. But to his dismay, Zé Augusto Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Zico Matamoros hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Misericordia EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
