Adan Txema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Augusto Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gilabert in the 14th minute of play forced Concepcion del Uruguay FC's goalkeeper Augusto Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Chepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Raulo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Gilabert in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Mercurio saved Concepcion del Uruguay FC from getting behind. After 20 played minutes Concepcion del Uruguay FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Karmel. Aureliano Theobald's late challenge caught a La Zabaleta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Aureliano Theobald got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Gregorio Chepe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Raulo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Theobald came free, but Angelino Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Gregorio Chepe made a precise shot to the right of Angelino Raulo. La Zabaleta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Gilabert to strike the kick off in the second half. Andy Claes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Augusto Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Augusto Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Gilabert in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Miguel Gilabert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 minutes La Zabaleta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luciano Frechoso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Luciano Frechoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelino Raulo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Gregorio Chepe in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 79th minute of the match, Gregorio Chepe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angelino Raulo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 81st minute of the match Concepcion del Uruguay FC got a corner. La Zabaleta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano Frechoso ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 83rd minute Miguel Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andy Claes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Concepcion del Uruguay FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Zabaleta throughout the match.
