Vinicio Perico started the match with the kick off. Melquiades Tome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Perico in the 4th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Tabor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Justino Derwin. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Melquiades Tome was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Leonides Munio came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the OPERYS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Munio couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Donato Tabor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Justino Derwin, 3-1. OPERYS F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Donato Tabor scored to the left of an out of position Justino Derwin, making the score, 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Guib during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulino Guib hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th minute Donato Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Derwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Perico got free with Melquiades Tome in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's Donato Tabor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Derwin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vinicio Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Emiliano Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. OPERYS F.C's Justino Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Gagriel in the 90th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. 17 de enero team were victorious despite being under pressure from OPERYS F.C for much of the match.
