But to his dismay, Arnoldo Loramendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Carlos Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnoldo Loramendi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the gutierrez sport club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Loramendi couldn't finish the play. Fabian Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Tano made a kick off. Alejo Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Galtero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd match minute, gutierrez sport club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Havier to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Santiago Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Eguen's late challenge caught a gutierrez sport club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Eguen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of gutierrez sport club booed when Inter de Urquiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
