Diego Xabel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Diego Xabel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Inko's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Nestor Inko succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Nestor Inko notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Diadema's Diego Xabel. Diego Xabel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Inko in the 16th minute of the match. Diego Xabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordon Nazario went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Gordon Nazario scored 0-5 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Xabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Diadema's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Inko came free, but Diego Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Inko took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Xabel. Diego Xabel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When Leo Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Florida Gulf Coast fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Karlo couldn't finish the play. Diego Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Nazario in the 30th minute of play. Diego Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Luis Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severo Sidoro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Diadema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Sidoro couldn't finish the play. Diego Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Karlo in the 35th minute of the match. Diego Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nestor Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Inko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Xabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Nicanor Oliveiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Severo Sidoro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gordon Nazario notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Diadema's Diego Xabel. Diego Xabel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute, Nestor Inko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florida Gulf Coast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. In the 60th minute, Clodoveo Cebrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florida Gulf Coast's Cipriano Aznaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Diadema. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Inko in the 62nd minute of play forced Diadema's goalkeeper Diego Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Gordon Nazario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florida Gulf Coast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Diego Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Nestor Inko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Xabel, 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Inko got free with Diego Xabel in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when Diadema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Aurelio Erruki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Severo Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Florida Gulf Coast's Gordon Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Xabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Diego Xabel was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Nestor Inko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nestor Inko really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Florida Gulf Coast played a much better game than Diadema and deserved their victory. The Diadema players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
