The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Scalarandi in the 8th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Izel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Lopes was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. When Mapovihesa FC's Niceto Aires, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mapovihesa FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Scalarandi in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Lopes saved Argon from getting behind. Melquiades Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, one of Argon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 35 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Aires came free, but Angel Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Marcelino Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Angel Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Niceto Aires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Lopes was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Severiano Abascal scored 0-7 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Mapovihesa FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jonatan Raymon made the kick off in the second half. Niceto Aires did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Angel Lopes 53 minutes into the match. Saul Lia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Niceto Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Angel Lopes made a huge save. After 60 minutes of play, Mapovihesa FC's Marcelino Fernandez made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angel Lopes was a little too slow when Reynaldo Bembe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-10. Argon's Angel Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Argon from getting a goal against them. Niceto Aires took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Lopes. Angel Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 75 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Aires came free, but Angel Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Telo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Niceto Aires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Angel Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angel Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Fernandez in the 80th minute of the match. Angel Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Fernandez in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Hernan Scalarandi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angel Lopes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 85 minutes into the match, Niceto Aires dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angel Lopes, 0-13. Mapovihesa FC's Aurelio Shepherd was substituted for Niceto Aires. Angel Lopes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aurelio Shepherd showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 91 minute of play. Angel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Shepherd in the 96th minute of play. Marcelino Fernandez scored 0-15 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mapovihesa FC played a much better game than Argon and deserved their victory. The Argon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
