With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Raul Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Rayman in the 16th minute of play. Cleto Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Rafael Santos Borré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Victor Oier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alejo Loren, made in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Rayman in the 27th minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Raul Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Rayman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a corner. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aureliano Hunfredo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Cleto Pagomari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Jax showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 43rd minute of the match Froilan Iigo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Froilan Iigo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciriaco Rayman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Alejo Loren with Rafael Santos Borré as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Raul Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's protests and gave Victor Oier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Oier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Thor Forssberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
