Mieszko Bierfass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Osvaldo Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes, san isidro's Walter Gonzales shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Loco Gatti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in san isidro reached it. san isidro's Mieszko Bierfass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Martínez in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes san isidro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eugenio Austin who took care of the corner kick. Adrian Batista was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of san isidro booed when Aguila Romana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Perutxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Mantzio in the 15th minute. Loco Gatti came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by san isidro's Ariel Goyo. But to his dismay, Ariel Goyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Placido Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, san isidro's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Martínez came free, but Mieszko Bierfass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. san isidro's Gaston Mantzio got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Martínez in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mieszko Bierfass prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walter Gonzales made a great header on san isidro's corner, it was just that Aguila Romana's Loco Gatti managed to reach the ball for a save. Mieszko Bierfass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Martínez in the 35th minute of play. Gaston Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, one of Aguila Romana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gaston Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Loco Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Mantzio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguila Romana's goalkeeper Loco Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mieszko Bierfass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Batista in the 56th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Placido Nazario sped through Aguila Romana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Loco Gatti. When Walter Gonzales fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored san isidro's protests and gave Walter Gonzales a yellow card for diving instead. Gaston Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Ariel Goyo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Aguila Romana's Loco Gatti. Loco Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Gaston Mantzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Placido Nazario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loco Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 96 minutes into the match, Aguila Romana's Gustavo Oliveiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mieszko Bierfass narrowly saved just below the crossbar. san isidro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aguila Romana for a fine match.
